Best Quotes from Stranger Things
Something is coming. Something hungry for blood.
Mike (Season 1 Episode 1)

The very first line from Michael aka Mike (Finn Wolfhard), the only boy who leads the group and later on becomes the most charming character in the whole series. When he said those words in the opening of the series, actually, he wasn’t sure that the demon he was speaking about was real and capturing people in town. The group was playing Dungeon and Dragons, a fictional book for children with fictional names.
The same creature he was talking about later took his best friend Will Byers, that led them to some real adventures and mysteries.
You’re gonna take out the Demogorgon with a slingshot?
Dustin Henderson (Season 1 Episode 3)

The most intelligent and nerdy member of the group, Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo). He’s certainly most realistic when it comes to real-life scenarios and combats. When these three friends were preparing their expedition to save their friend’s life (Will, who was trapped in Upside Down) they gathered some childish weapons to kill the Demogorgon.
And that’s when Dustin realizes that it can’t be possible so he asks Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) that, if, he seriously plans to Kill that monster with a wrist rocket.
The funniest part is that they really attacked the demogorgon with a slingshot at the end, which obviously didn’t work, but they were saved by El (Millie Bobby Brown).
My mom was young. My dad was older, but he had a cushy job, money, came from a good family. So, they bought a nice house at the end of cul-de-sac… and started their nuclear family.
Nancy Wheeler (Season 1 Episode 5)

One thing is certain, that, Nancy (Natalia Dyer) was from a nuclear family. Her ferociousness and bravery explain it all, and, moreover, he was the elder sister of Mike. Nancy and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) probably never liked each other, but, under forced circumstances, they had to work together so they could capture and kill the Demogorgon.
Well, she was doing it to find Barbara (Shannon Purser), and Jonathan was doing all this to find his brother Will (Noah Schnapp). While both of them were getting trained for their so-called “monster hunting” that’s when Nancy explained herself and about her nuclear family.
Man, these aren’t real Nilla Wafers.
Dustin Henderson (Season 1 Episode 5)

One of the most funniest moments from season 1. While everyone was mourning after Will’s funeral, the group was quite calm because they knew that their friend was not dead, he was only stuck in the Upside Down. To make him unstuck they were trying to find a way to enter into such a world. To solve this mystery they had to consult Mr. Clarke (Randy Havens).
Mr. Clarke was very sympathetic to all these boys because they were different and always curious. He asked them “How are you boys, holding up?” and Will answered that they were in mourning, and, at that same time Dustin was busy experiencing some tasty snacks which made the situation really awkward at one point but they somehow managed to handle it.
Kid’s missing man… show a little class
Jim Hopper (Season 1 Episode 2

Jim Hopper (David Harbour) is the heart of this show. At first in episode 1 we only get to see his funny and careless side of the police chief. But, when he comes to know that one of the kids in the town is missing, he gets up and does whatever it takes to find Will. He’s sympathetic and responsible and that’s why he forbids his fellow officers to stop making jokes about the situation, be responsible, and show some class.
Hey, well, if we’re both going crazy, then we’ll go crazy together, right?
Mike Wheeler (Season 2 Episode 2)

In episode 2 of season 2, two of the party members were facing their own traumas. Will was still seeing things from Upside Down, and Mike was depressed because he was missing Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). The poor guy didn’t even know that she was still out there living with Hopper. Somehow, he felt deeply that he could still talk to her, and, that’s why he always grabbed his walkie and spoke to her in his leisure time.
That’s when he realizes that both of them are going crazy but the good thing is that both of them are getting crazy together.
I’m on a curiosity voyage, and I need my paddles to travel.
Dustin Henderson (Season 2 Episode 3)

As I mentioned earlier, Dustin was indeed the most intelligent guy in the party. Suddenly, that high-caliper guy finds something weird in his trash, and to find out what that living organism is he literally takes out on a librarian by breaking the rules of the school. A fun thing apart from the organism we’re speaking of is Dart (baby Demogorgon). Dustin, after his studies named him Dart.
Even though after realizing everything about Dart he wasn’t so happy but still their friendship saved their life in the Upside Down following episode 8. This is where Stranger Things taught us one of the biggest lesson that nobody notices, and that lesson is all about true friendship.
You were moving your feet. Plant them next time, draw a charge.
Billy Hargrove (Season 2 Episode 4)

Here comes the real macho man in the whole series, Billy Hargrove (Dacre Mongomery). He’s the only kid who’s got manly traits and attitude and became a real headache for Steve Harrington (Joe Keerey) who was once known as “the King of Hawkins Middle”. Billy almost took out Steve at every point, either its attracting girls or its a basketball game.
He loves taking him out making fun of him so he could led him down and take his place as a king. Even at the games court, he pushes him away on purpose and then teaches him how to keep a solid ground. Whatever, Steve never cared about him as he was too busy missing Nancy.

Our children don’t live here anymore. You didn’t know that.
Ted Wheeler (Season 2 Episode 5)

Now comes the head of the nuclear family, the famous Ted Wheelers (Joe Chrest) is one of the most silent parents ever seen on television. He mostly never cared what his children were doing. That’s why, when Dustin got in trouble after realizing about Dart, he went to Mike’s house to find out about him and the rest of the friends, and that’s where Ted mentioned that he doesn’t even know where his children are living right now.
It’s a central nervous system depressant. So yes, with vodka.
Murray Bauman (Season 2 Episode 5)

Appeared in season 2, the man full of curiosities and questions, Murray Bauman (Brett Gelman), who’s a true patriot and responsible citizen. This guy is full of knowledge and hidden mysteries, in fact, he’s the one who was actually responsible for taking down the Hawkins Energy Department.
When Nancy and Jonathan finally found some evidence against the Hawkins Lab, they brought it to Murray. He wasn’t so pleased after learning all the truth about the lab and especially, Eleven. That’s where he began drinking Vodka by saying that its a central nervous depressant and helps you to think clearly, and, the good thing is it worked, he solved the whole case after one glass.
There’s more to life than stupid boys.
Max Mayfield (Season 3 Episode 2)

One of the best and most interesting characters who appeared in season 2, and became a party member after much struggle, is Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink). She called herself “Zoomer” because of her skills in skating. She’s also the coolest girl who appeared in Stranger Things.
When Eleven was upset because of Mike, she seeked help from Max. That’s where things become really interesting as Max taught her about real life and real fun things. She taught her in life there are many other things that require your attention other than boys or love.
You can’t spell “America” without “Erica”
Erica Sinclair (Season 3 Episode 4)

We get to see the real instincts of Lucas’s sister in season 3. Erica (Priah Ferguson) is the most nerdy and sharp character in the series. She was never officially announced as a party member but after her services in the “operation child endangerment,” she could be seen now and then with the group.
She mentioned one of the most interesting facts about her name. Erica is a common name, but a very few people realize that this name is repeated within the spelling of “America”, which clearly shows that you can’t spell America without Erica. She was actually trying to say that she’s a true patriot, but she’ll not offer her services for free, due to the American capitalist system.
I guess, girlfriends don’t lie, they spy.
Mike Wheeler (Season 3 Episode 5)

Mike loved Eleven with all his heart, but, only to avoid Hopper’s anger he lied to her, otherwise, Hopper was going to ban him for life. But, unfortunately, Eleven got furious and after learning from Max that there’s much more life than boys she gave upon him for a while just to teach him a lesson.
The interesting thing is, that Eleven had superpowers, so she spied on the boys, which made Mike a little bit jealous and furious, and, that’s why he said that girlfriends not only lie but also spy on their boyfriends. He realizes that he can no more take control, but still, he wants a safe lifestyle for her.
Yes, yes, you’re saving the world, I heard you the first time, but Ged is also saving the Earthsea and he’s about to confront the shadow, so this is Suzie signing off.
Suzie Bingham (Season 3 Episode 8)

Dustin’s love, Suzie (Gabriella Pizzolo) took a whole season to answer his call. Their relationship is very funny and interesting. She’s a nerd just like her boyfriend and she gets the upper hand in solving complex equations and scientific mysteries.
She saved the world with only a simple number which is “planks constant“. Because Hopper, Joyce (Winona Ryder), and Bauman won’t be able to stop Russian machines without this constant which was given by Suzie with Dustin’s help, and, of course, their way of helping our heroes by singing a memorable song “Never Ending Story” was quite amusing.
You saying Sinclaire’s been taken in by the dark side? And rather than find a sub for him, you want, you want to postpone the cult of Vecna?
Eddie Munson (Season 4 Episode 1)

Just like the boys, Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) was another nerd who was obsessed with Dungeons and Dragons. He was the first person who used the name “Vecna” in season 4. Later on, their all fears become true when Chrissy Cunningham (Grace Van Dien) was cursed and taken by Vecna.
Mike and Dustin used to play the same nerdy game D&D with Eddie, but now their campaigns are a bit more adult. They asked Eddie if he could postpone their campaign for one night because a party member was missing, and, he teaches them in a very occultic way that all they need is a substitute and there’s no need to postpone.
Its time for your suffering… to end
Vecna (Season 4 Episode 1)

Now comes the man behind all of this misery and tension that we get to see in four seasons of Stranger Things. Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) appeared in 4th season and literally stole the whole show with his powers and attention.
As of personal opinion, the whole show wasn’t about any mysterious girl, the Demogorgon, Dart, or Flesh monster, it was all about Vecna. The whole time he was the one who was trying to enter the real world by taking lives and control. And, whenever he takes a life he says the only thing “It’ll be over soon, it’s time for your suffering… to end”. Each life he takes he becomes more powerful.

So, he’s a grandpa murderer who can turn invisible and lift people into the air.
Robin Buckley (Season 4 Episode 3)

Robin Buckley (Maya Hawke) is a very different and charming character who appeared in season 3. She cracked the most difficult code by Russians and saved the whole town of Hawkins. She deserved to become a party member as she had incredible skills.
But the interesting thing is, she became confused and annoying from time to time. At one point in season 4, when she was looking for a solution with Nancy, to help Max so she could get rid of Vecna’s curse. But, we can see that Nancy got really annoyed because of Robin. Still, she helped her pretty well and just like she cracked Russians, she also cracked Vecna’s weakness.
Byers, man, having a party and not inviting me, man? That’s not cool. That is so not cool, man.
Argyle (Season 4 Episode 4)

If we’re looking for the best quotes on Stranger Things, it’s uncompleted without Argyle (Eduardo Franco). He’s truly added another level of fun and humor to season 4. Especially, his way of talking makes him really cool.
In this very scene, that poor guy doesn’t even know that he’s heading into a trap. After seeing so many cars and SUVs outside Jonathan’s house he thinks some party is going on, but, when he realizes that there is an injured agent and spooked friends coming toward him, he gets really upset.
If we told you, it would ruin the surprise. Hello Eleven
Dr. Martin Brenner (Papa) (Season 4 Episode 5)

Dr. Martin Brenner aka Papa (Mathew Modine) is the only man in the series, who is quiet and cunning, and truly responsible for all this mess. His ambitions and science experiments created Upside Down, Eleven, and even the most horrible monster “Vecna”.
When Eleven disappeared to become a superhero again, she never thought of getting trapped inside the same prison she once escaped, and that prison was controlled by Papa. Although it was a distasteful task she accepted it anyway only to get her powers back, because, she knew somehow that he’s the only man that can help her become a hero again.

I became an explorer. An explorer of a realm unspoiled by mankind. I saw so many things. And one day, I found most extraordinary thing of all. Something that would change everything.
Vecna (Season 4 Episode 9)

This one dialogue from the last episode of season 4 (The Piggyback) reveals, where was Vecna in the last 3 seasons and what was his ultimate plan for mankind after he got lost in Upside Down. He mentions each and every detail to Eleven at that moment when the two of them were fighting again (but this time, it was a mind fight not a face-to-face combat).
Eleven was confident enough to beat Vecna, she thought it would be easier this time as well, but Papa was right all along, Vecna was lost for a long time and nobody would have known how much powerful he has become. This is why she wasn’t able to save Max from Vecna’s curse but somehow she was able to beat him for a short time.
